Patrick Griffin, director of the Keough School’s Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies, spoke to the Irish Times about a new policy initiative with the Royal Irish Academy. The Analysing and Researching Ireland North and South (ARINS) project seeks to examine the question of an Irish unity referendum with published papers and discussion.
Griffin said the ARINS research would help “the conditions for better quality debate and decision-making. Regardless of their preferences, policymakers and the public in both jurisdictions should be well informed.”
