Many of Colombia’s ex-rebel fighters rearm and turn to illegal drug trade

Research by the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies was cited in an NPR article about Colombian ex-rebels taking up arms despite the Colombian peace treaty.

The cited Kroc Institute report describes the level of treaty compliance in Colombia as “comparable to other comprehensive peace agreements.”
