Writing Skills Coordinator

Stephanie Perrin is the writing skills coordinator for students in the Master of Global Affairs program. She works in collaboration with the English for Academic Purposes program in the Notre Dame Center for the Study of Languages and Cultures. She holds one-on-one tutoring sessions and leads group workshops to help students navigate the conventions and nuances of academic writing.

Perrin has worked as a global technical writer and editor for over 15 years. Prior to joining the Keough School, she served as the programming information coordinator for a nonprofit organization providing aid for refugees in Syria and Iraq. Perrin has taught and tutored courses in Russian and English, both in the United States and in Russia. As a freelance editor, she has worked for nongovernmental organizationss, public relations firms, curriculum developers, and academics, as well as mass-market book publishers.

Perrin holds a bachelor’s degree in humanities with an emphasis in English editing from Brigham Young University. She loves working with students, organizing information, and sharing good words. She is passionate about peacemaking and building a better global community.
