Sergio Cerda serves as the OIT solutions consultant in the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. As an integral part of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) team, Sergio operates as an embedded member of the Keough School Dean’s Office, providing expertise and support.

Cerda facilitates the IT needs not only for the Dean’s Office, but also for the Keough School’s nine academic units. He provides strategic guidance, assists in technology decision-making processes, and develops innovative solutions to overcome the IT challenges faced by the school. Additionally, Cerda facilitates seamless support for IT equipment and systems, ensuring that the Keough School operates smoothly and efficiently.

With a strong background in IT consulting spanning over three decades, Cerda brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to his position. His prior experience includes serving as an OIT solutions consultant at Notre Dame’s School of Architecture. During his tenure there, Cerda contributed to technology decision-making, strategic consulting, and devising effective solutions to address complex IT challenges faced by the school.

Before joining the University of Notre Dame, Sergio honed his expertise as an IT consultant in the private sector, primarily in the Chicagoland area. This experience allowed him to develop a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of IT practices across various industries.
