Scholarships and Stipends

Generous Funding Available

 

All students accepted into the Master of Global Affairs are considered for generous financial support. This includes a variety of merit-based scholarships ranging from partial tuition funding to full-tuition scholarships and stipends for living expenses. No separate application is required.

More than 75 percent of Keough School MGA students receive significant financial support, and 100 percent of Keough School MGA students receive financial support for field placements.

Eligibility

 

When you apply for the Master of Global Affairs, you will automatically be considered for merit-based financial support (there is no separate application required). Scholarships are awarded to incoming students based on academic promise and merit. Applicants wishing to be considered for need-based financial aid may choose to complete an additional form within the application.

Returned Peace Corps volunteers are eligible for fellowship support through the Coverdell Fellowship program.

Tuition and Living Expenses

 

Tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year is $62,030, and student fees are $472. It should be noted that annual increases in tuition and fees are possible. The Notre Dame Graduate Program student expense budget can be found here at Notre Dame’s Office of Financial Aid.

Many students receive a significant tuition scholarship and/or living stipend. Applicants are encouraged to seek financial aid opportunities from domestic and international sources.
