We translate scholarship into actionable takeaways to provide policymakers with the tools to address pressing global issues.
No substantive or political change comes without reforming policy or practice. With that in mind, our global policy impact strategy leverages research to inform both policy and practice, recognizing that they are key instruments of change, whether in government, in nongovernmental organizations or in the private sector.
Our faculty work in 70 countries across the globe, engaging closely with policymakers, sharing their research insights through:

Participating in policy conversations at the Keough School Washington Office, on the University of Notre Dame campus, and beyond;

Consulting for governments, nongovernmental organizations and the private sector; and,

Providing expert testimony to leaders at major institutions, including the United States Congress and the United Nations. Our experts work to put their research in the hands of people who can apply these insights to make a difference.
In all that they do, our experts prioritize sharing research with changemakers who can apply it to make a difference for the world's most vulnerable people.
