Sadiqa Sultan

Ph.D. Student, Peace Studies

Sadiqa Sultan is a development practitioner, peace-builder, researcher and rights activist with over 12 years of experience. She is a gold medalist in Master of Mass Communication from University of Balochistan and has a distinction in master of Peace and Conflict Studies from University of Otago, New Zealand. Sadiqa’s work revolves around policy research, human rights, community building, women and youth empowerment, and leadership. Her research work has been published by University of Sussex, University of Bristol and major newspapers in Pakistan. Sadiqa has conducted more than a dozen of preventing/countering violent extremism workshops for youth from conflict affected regions across Pakistan. She is an independent board member of Radio Pakistan, and is also a part of Women Action Forum, the oldest women and rights movement in Pakistan.
