Sacha Ortize Siani’s research focuses on understanding social-ecological systems by linking in-depth local-scale field research with geospatial analysis of regional-scale landscape change. Sacha is a PhD candidate in Geography at Indiana University. He holds a master’s degree in remote sensing from the National Institute for Space Research in Brazil and a bachelor’s degree in environmental and sanitary engineering from the University of Taubaté in Brazil.
