Jhaylee Busby

Jhaylee Busby serves as the Research & Policy Operations Program Manager within the Dean’s Office of the Keough School of Global Affairs. In her role, she provides critical coordination, operational and financial management support to the research and policy functions.

Jhaylee joined the University of Notre Dame in 2023, previously serving as the Justice Education Program Manager in the Institute for Social Concerns. There, she was a part of the justice education team that supports undergraduate scholarly engagement through courses, immersive experiences, and community action. She also serves as the treasurer of the Young Leaders of Notre Dame.

Prior to joining the University, Jhaylee worked as a high school social studies teacher and with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America doing community outreach, college preparedness, and member advocacy. Jhaylee holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Western Michigan University.
