Biography & Research
Francesc Ortega is a professor of sustainable development at the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame and a core-affiliated facultly member of the Pulte Institute for Global Development.
Ortega’s research focuses on climate risk, insurance, and housing markets. He also conducts research on labor markets and immigration policy. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from New York University.
