April Toler

April Toler leads the Keough School’s central marketing and communications team. In this role, she develops and leads the implementation of the school's strategic communications plan, engages internal and external stakeholders, and leads the communications team in content creation, digital marketing, social media strategy, web design, and multimedia content development. Toler holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University and a master of business administration degree from Indiana University. Before coming to Notre Dame, Toler spent a decade at Indiana University Bloomington, working in both the university’s centralized communications office and as director of research communications. Prior to her work in higher education, Toler worked for newspapers in Indiana, Illinois, and Florida.
