Professional training, real-world impact

Our two-year Master of Global Affairs (MGA) program offers rigorous professional training and deep engagement with faculty and global partners. Students choose one of three distinctive majors:

In every major you will:

Hands-on policy experience

From the classroom to collaborative experiential learning to Capitol Hill, Keough School students gain firsthand experience in policymaking that drives global impact. Learn from faculty experts in the classroom. Partner with impactful organizations through fieldwork. And immerse yourself in Washington, D.C. through a course that connects you with diplomats, think tank leaders and government officials for learning and networking. Your Keough School education will help you better understand how policy is made and how you can help shape it in your professional work. Whether your future lies in diplomacy, international development or advocacy, you’ll graduate with the tools, training and connections to influence change where it matters most.
