Renée LaReau

Senior Writer and Digital Program Manager

Renée LaReau is a member of the Keough School’s central marketing and communications team. She researches, writes, and develops content for the Keough School website and implements digital marketing strategies focused on academic programs, student recruitment, and policy and global outreach. LaReau also serves a as a consultant and liaison for the nine academic units of the Keough School.

LaReau holds a master’s degree in journalism and communication from the Ohio State University. She also holds two degrees from Notre Dame: a master of divinity and a BA in theology. She is the author of the book Getting a Life: How to Find Your True Vocation (Orbis).

Before coming to Notre Dame, LaReau worked as a writer and editor in the corporate communications division of JP Morgan Chase & Co. She also worked for several years as a journalist, covering religion, spirituality, finance, and food. She has published feature articles in several national and regional publications, including America, the National Catholic Reporter, US Catholic, the Columbus Dispatch, Columbus Monthly, the Dayton Daily News and Cooking Light. She has received numerous awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Catholic Press Association.

Before joining the Keough School Dean’s Office staff, LaReau was a senior writer at the Keough School’s Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies.
