The Nanovic Institute for European Studies offers this grant to undergraduate students who have secured an internship or service position in Europe.

Key Dates

  1. Fall application deadline

    Before submitting an application, students are strongly encouraged to consult with someone from Nanovic, CUSE, Franco, or another Keough School unit. A faculty mentor is required and should review draft proposals before they are submitted. Faculty references are due no later than 10/20/26 (3/9/27 for summer grants).

    • membership in other funding programs like AnBryce or Glynn, previous work with Nanovic
  • Internship/service information (company, start and end dates, location, project terms and expectations, student's qualifications, expected outcomes).
  • Proposed budget.
  • Faculty reference.

Evaluation Criteria

Strength of project proposal and budget, evidence of internship or service placement, necessary language proficiencies, faculty endorsement, connection to professional goals, alignment of intership or service opportunity with Nanovic research priorities/European studies.
