The Nanovic Institute for European Studies offers this grant to faculty fellows and associates for developing, organizing and hosting academic conferences and workshops focused on European studies.
Overview
Supports the development, organization, and hosting of academic conferences and workshops at the University of Notre Dame or in Europe that focus on issues of importance to European studies.

Fall application deadline
Proposals for conferences/workshops will be reviewed twice each academic year, following the published grant deadlines for the fall and spring semesters. Please note: The maximum contribution for a Conference and Workshop Support Grant will be $5,000. If seeking a major co-sponsor of a conference or workshop, the Institute will consider a Conference and Workshop Sponsorship Grant, with funding contributions in excess of $5,000; proposals for conference or workshop sponsorship that are received fewer than six months in advance of the event dates may not be considered for funding.
