Research Collaborator Visit Grant

Submission Requirements

The complete application must include:

• A brief abstract (150 words) summarizing the purpose and focus of the collaborative visit
• A project proposal that clearly outlines:
  • the research question or objective to be advanced during the visit
  • the international focus or dimension of the research, if applicable
  • the project’s alignment with the Kellogg Institute’s thematic priorities
  • the background and scholarly significance of the collaboration
  • the current stage of the research project and rationale for this visit
  • the anticipated scholarly product (e.g., co-authored article, book chapter)
  • the specific contributions of the visiting collaborator
  • the involvement of students in the project, if applicable
• A proposed agenda for the visit, including a day-by-day schedule of writing sessions, meetings, or any other formal/informal events
• An abbreviated CV (2–3 pages) for both the Faculty Fellow and the visiting collaborator
• A short bio (150–200 words) for the visiting collaborator
• A detailed line-item budget outlining airfare, lodging, per diem, etc.
• A brief narrative budget justification, explaining the rationale for the visit’s length and scope, and how the cost estimates were developed
