Submission Requirements
The complete submission requires:
- A 2-4 page proposal that clearly identifies:
- the research question to be addressed;
- the researcher's responsibilities and role within the project;
- the qualifications and skills required for the position, indicating whether a postdoctoral researcher, a predoctoral researcher, or either would best meet the project's needs.
- A work plan that includes milestones and expected accomplishments during the appointment period (e.g., journal articles, conference papers, datasets, book manuscript, digital products, or other scholarly outputs).
- A description of the mentoring and professional development opportunities that will be provided to the researcher, including collaborations, co-authorship opportunities, research training, and career development.
Evaluation Criteria
The Kellogg Faculty Committee will select projects to receive Institute-funded postdoctoral or predoctoral research support.
Faculty Fellows whose proposals are selected will participate in the recruitment and selection process to ensure that the successful candidate's skills, experience, and research interests align with the needs of the project.
