Sheedy Excellence in Teaching Award Ceremony

This event congratulates Associate Professor Ernesto Verdeja, this year’s Sheedy Excellence in Teaching Award winner. Verdeja holds a joint appointment in the College of Arts and Letters Department of Political Science and the Keough School’s Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, where he is a core faculty member and serves as director of the undergraduate program in peace studies.

The highest teaching honor in the College of Arts and Letters, the Sheedy award was founded in 1970 in honor of Rev. Charles E. Sheedy, C.S.C., who served as dean of the College of Arts and Letters from 1951–69.

The award ceremony is open to all faculty, staff, and students.
