Theresa Ricke-Kiely

Theresa Ricke-Kiely is the executive director of the Kroc Institute of International Peace Studies. She is a faculty member in the Keough School of Global Affairs and a concurrent faculty member in the Mendoza College of Business, where she teaches nonprofit leadership courses at the graduate and executive levels.

Ricke-Kiely is responsible for personnel administration and operations of the Kroc Institute. She also provides leadership for the master’s program, focusing on development, recruitment and leadership training for students.

Before joining the Kroc Institute, Ricke-Kiely was associate director for planning and development for the Master of Nonprofit Administration Program at Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. In this position, she oversaw programming for nonprofit professionals and field internships for master’s students. Prior to her work at Notre Dame, Ricke-Kiely was the director of the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at the University of South Carolina (Upstate).

She serves on national and regional boards and volunteers for local nonprofits. She holds a MPA from Marist College and an Ed.D. in organizational leadership from the University of Sarasota.
