Renée LaReau

Renée LaReau is a member of the Keough School’s central Marketing and Communications Team. She researches, writes, and develops content for the Keough School website and implements digital marketing strategies focused on academic programs, student recruitment, and policy and global outreach. LaReau also serves a as a consultant and liaison for the seven academic units of the Keough School.

LaReau graduated from Notre Dame with a Master of Divinity degree and a B.A. in theology. She also holds a master’s degree in journalism and communication from the Ohio State University. She is the author of the book Getting a Life: How to Find Your True Vocation (Orbis).

Before coming to Notre Dame, LaReau worked for several years as a journalist, covering religion, spirituality, finance and food. She has published feature articles in several national and regional publications, including America, the National Catholic Reporter, U.S. Catholic, the Columbus Dispatch, Columbus Monthly, the Dayton Daily News and Cooking Light. She has received numerous awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Catholic Press Association. LaReau also has worked as a writer and editor for J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.

Before joining the Keough School, LaReau worked for seven years as a senior writer at Notre Dame’s Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies.
