Integration Lab, Assistant Director

The Assistant Director of the Integration Lab (i-Lab) works collaboratively with the i-Lab co-directors to develop and execute the i-Lab concept. A new initiative of the Keough School of Global Affairs, the i-Lab will offer curricular programs that engage students with critical, real-world challenges through links with partner organizations around the world. The Assistant Director works with the directors to develop and implement the i-Lab Strategic, Operational and Business Plans.

The Assistant Director assists the co-directors in administering student projects, including formation of student teams, matching teams with partner organizations, development of project budgets, and project implementation and evaluation. The Assistant Director also assists the co-Directors in managing partner relationships, including developing standard operating procedures, securing legal agreements and other documentation with partners, and arranging partner visits to campus. The Assistant Director also coordinates the scheduling and use of the i-Lab facility, maintains project documentation and stakeholder data, and supports external relations activities of the i-Lab in coordination with relevant staff in the Keough School Dean’s Office.


Master’s Degree in Global Affairs, International Development, or another relevant field. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience involving management of international projects, including experience managing relationships/partnerships with international organizations and/or corporations; skills in working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders both within and beyond the university; strong organizational capacities and written and oral communication skills; and commitment to the mission of the Keough School.


Exposure to innovative pedagogies for thinking about global challenges is preferred.
